Aristotle did not think much of the octopus.

Orion Magazine keeping it real:

A note on grammar:
Octopuses, not octopi, is now considered the correct plural among the octopus intelligentsia. Octopi has been discarded as the plural because of its Latin ending on a Greek word. The correct plural for applepus, however, is still apple pie.

Guess which of these two is the monster.

  1. By the by, those octos in the featured image of Octopus Wrestling 2: The Revenge were actually part of Larry’s birthday dinner. I trimmed it down, stuck it into Snapseed, and filtered it until it looked like the photo was taken in murky, grainy seawater. I must have done well, because when I showed my mom, she shuddered and recoiled.

My skills are still on point.
