via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/CBTbw5lj7sH/ All you have to do is click on @us_pain_foundation’s link in their bio for #aplanforpain, click on the email option, and fill in your info. The advocacy letter is already written, and it is sent to your all your reps: Senate, House, and local Delegate. It took me under three minutes. It will help me and all the pain patients like me.
To give you an example of how bad it is: medical marijuana will be legal in Virginia starting July 1, when all the new laws kick in. I saw my doctor after the law was passed, and brought up coming off oxy* pain meds and transitioning to medical marijuana. He had no idea that it was legal, and no idea of what to do. He heard about it from me! That’s the world of a pain patient. I still am unsure of how to apply to become a med marijuana patient. We’re treated like med seekers and often completely left out of the conversation that is all about us. Please take a moment and click through and email your politicians for me.
